A top tier investment bank listed as one of the top ten companies to work for; is looking for a junior front office Java Developer to work within their FICC FX group. Significant growth in FX has lead to huge investment in the team and its infrastructure, where the Java developer will be working with other senior developers as well as traders and quants on a day to day basis. The Java Developer will be required to work within a high pressured, fast paced, front office environment who wants to engage with all aspects of the business. The highly skilled Java Developer will be required to interact with others globally so great communication skills are required.
The successful Java Developer will have skills in:
-Java -J2EE/ Swing -Front Office -FICC
Responsibilities for Java Developer
-Develop the core FX trading and risk-management system components. -Work directly with the trading desk to understand and define business requirements. -Adopt a proactive approach to technology and introduce new/improved solutions. -Demonstrate practical know-how and expertise in current technologies.

-Independent self-starter with -Good oral and written communication skills. -Multitask and work effectively under pressure to deadlines.
